Sweet and Smoky Soy Nuts
Second Place in Just Tomatoes Recipe Contest 2009

INGREDIENTS

1/2 tsp. ground cumin
1/2 tsp. chipotle chile powder (or smoked paprika)
1/4 tsp. red pepper flakes
2 Tbsp. canola oil
2 Tbsp. sugar
1 Tbsp. honey
2 cups Organic Just Soy Nuts

 
PREPARATION

Stir together first 3 ingredients in hot oil in a non-stick skillet over medium high neat for 1/2 minute. Stir in sugar and honey to dissolve sugar; add soy nuts and cook, stirring constantly, for 6-8 minutes or until the nuts are evenly glazed. Turn out onto a lightly greased foil lined baking sheet. Cool.
