Yes, you can make your own chocolate bark! It’s so easy and makes fabulous gifts. Cellophane bags can be purchased at any party store. Just stack the bags with bark and tie with a holiday bow. They’re so festive and colorful.
Ingredients (White Chocolate Bark):
Just Cranberries
1 Cup Pistachios
1 Bag of White Chocolate Chips
Ingredients (Dark Chocolate Bark):
Just Raspberries
1 Bag of Semi-Sweet or Milk Chocolate Chips
1 Cup Toasted Almonds chopped into approx. ¼ size
Directions:
Line the bottom of a 9×13 pan with parchment paper or foil. Pour chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave chocolate chips in increments of 30 seconds, stirring the chips each time, until chocolate chips have completely melted and mixture is smooth. Spread melted chocolate as evenly as possibly into lined pan.
For White Chocolate Bark: Sprinkle the white chocolate with Just Cranberries and pistachios and gently pat down with back of a spatula. Place pan into freezer for 20 minutes.
For Dark/Milk Chocolate Bark: Sprinkle the dark/milk chocolate with Just Raspberries and almonds and gently pat down with back of a spatula. Place pan into freezer for 20 minutes.
Remove from freezer and gently lift the whole mixture from the pan with a butter knife. You should now have a solid sheet of bark. Remove parchment paper or foil and break into pieces. Store any left over bark in a zip lock bag and place in the freezer. Enjoy!
